01Who we are
Keepie is made by Kyrylo Chernov, sole proprietor (FOP), вул. Біблика, 23, кв. 1, 61000 Харків, Україна (Biblyka St, 23, apt. 1, 61000 Kharkiv, Ukraine) (“we”, “us”). We decide why and how the data described here is used (the “controller”).

02What we collect
Keepie works on your phone first. The table shows what exists, where it lives, why and when.

This website sets no cookies and loads no trackers, fonts or scripts from other companies. Our host (Cloudflare) sees your network address and the page you ask for in the way every web server does; we do not use that to profile anyone.
03Why we may use your data
Where the law of your country asks for a legal basis (for example the GDPR):
- to provide Keepie and the features you turn on (contract),
- to keep Keepie secure, stop abuse and fix errors (our legitimate interest),
- to send notifications, show personalised ads where you allow them, and email you when Keepie is live if you asked (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time),
- to meet legal duties such as tax and consumer law.
We do not sell your data. We do not use health details for advertising, and we do not use them to profile you.
04Who helps us run Keepie
These companies process data for us under contracts. Each receives only what its job needs.

Apple Sign in and Google Sign in are run by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies.
05Moving data across borders
Some processors work in countries outside the European Economic Area and Ukraine, including the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the security measures described below.
06How long we keep it
- On your phone: until you delete the pet or the app.
- Account data and connected pets: until you delete your account. After that we remove them within 30 days.
- Provider backups of our database: they may hold removed data until they expire, at most 7 days. We do not restore deleted accounts from them.
- Vet Pack links: the summary is erased when the link expires (4 hours) or you revoke it. Notes a vet sent are kept 30 days and are visible to you in the app.
- Invite codes: one use, and they expire after 7 days.
- Technical logs: 7 days.
- Support emails: as long as needed to help you and meet legal duties, then deleted.
07Your rights
You can see, export, correct and delete your data, restrict or object to how it is used, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country. In Ukraine that is the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
- In the app: You → Delete account, or Export your data.
- On the web: the Delete account page, or Support for an export.
- If you cannot sign in: use the web form. We confirm it is you with a code sent to your email.
- Anything else: privacy@getkeepie.app.
08How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to records is limited by rules in the database itself, so a person only reaches the pets they own or were invited to, and health records only for owners. Vet Pack links carry a long random token that we store only as a hash. Codes and tokens are never written to our logs. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
09Children
Keepie is meant for adults who look after pets. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you think a child has given us data, write to privacy@getkeepie.app and we will delete it.
10Changes to this policy
We show the date at the top. For important changes we also tell you in the app before they apply.
